AQUARIUM AIR PUMPS
Noise levels All air pumps make a noise, some more than others.
REMEDY During recent trials and evaluations of these air pumps we have used 10 mtrs of standard 4mm air-line from pump to air stone /s. and supprised ourselves a little in discovering only a very small reduction in performance.
This means that even the smaller pumps can be sited quite a distance away. (Peace and Quiet at last !!!!)

Reasonably quiet for inside use. When evaluating this pump we found it quietest when sited on a carpeted floor behind the sofa. It is always difficult to assess noise as opinions differ widely on what is acceptable.

The air pump is not waterproof and would need to be kept dry if used outside.

We also found the unit could be turned down to minimum for quieter operation and still produce reasonable oxygen.
Ideal for when when the room is in use . Then up to maximum aeration when room is vacated.
